Cape Breton Odyssey
Your Cape Breton Odyssey begins in the heart of Nova Scotia’s capital city of Halifax at the Citadel Halifax Hotel. In the morning, head for Sydney on Cape Breton Island and stay for two nights at Cambridge Suites Hotel. You’ll find wonderful museums in this historic town including St. Patrick's Museum and the fully restored Cossit House built in 1785. Also, be sure to visit the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site of Canada. It’s the largest historical reconstruction in Canada originally built to protect French colonists and to serve as the center of their fishing industry. Next, head for the Inverary Resort in Baddeck where the world famous Cabot Trail is just a stone throw away.
