While spectacular views can be seen from virtually any location on the ship, special viewing areas truly make the crossing an unforgettable experience on the high seas. Maine and Nova Scotia coastlines can be seen from 4 stories high while departing and entering port. Beautiful sunsets are also regular occurrences on the evening sailings. Floor to ceiling windows on the side of the ship are great for big ocean views. As well, the forward lounge provides vistas from three sides of the ship. From the stern (rear) of the ship you can watch the water jets of the Cat shoot out a tail over 20 feet high and 50 feet long. It's great for taking pictures while you get a true sense of the power and speed of the ship. Sea birds and mammals are common sites, so bring your camera or binoculars.
Wheelchair access is available on the passenger deck, including washrooms, seating, food service and movie lounge. It is recommended you make your requirements known at time of check in and the crew would be more than pleased to assist you on board the ship. On board ramps are available from the car deck that lead to the passenger area.
There is no smoking inside the ship, however an outside deck is available to all passengers.
